Summer Camp helps children of all ages, experience, and abilities get ready to compete in cross-country. We even stage two “time trials” at the beginning and end of the summer, so that kids can see their progress!
Kids in grades K-1 will train to race 400m; Grades 2-3, 800m, Grades 4-5, 1200m; and Grades 6-8, 1600m.
From July 15 through August 21, Summer Camp will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00-7:45 PM at St. Paul’s Recreation Complex, 295 Stewart Avenue in Garden City.
Parents must drop off and pick up their children at the fields; children are not allowed to walk themselves through the parking lot.
Cross-country uniforms are not necessary for summer camp; gym clothes and sneakers are fine, but cleats and basketball shoes are not allowed.
