CYO chess registration is OPEN through October 31, 2019.
This program is available to children in 3rd through 8th Grade who either (1) attend Saint Anne’s School; OR (2) are registered members of the parish; OR (3) reside within the geographic boundaries of the parish.
The cost will be $150 per child, which will include weekly practice sessions, all tournament fees, and specialized training sessions hosted by Long Island Chess Nuts. Team shirts and chess kits may be purchased separately. Practices will be held on Thursdays, beginning November 7th.
This year’s program will include six tournaments held on Saturdays between November and February. The exact dates are:
November 16, 2019 – St. Ignatius Loyola (Hicksville)
December 7, 2019 – Saint Anne’s School
January 11, 2020 – Saint Anne’s School
January 25, 2020 – St. Patrick’s (Huntington)
February 8, 2020 – TBA
February 29, 2019 – St. Ignatius / St. Aidan’s
